Strawberry overnight oats

Strawberry Overnight Oats - perfect easy make ahead breakfast to enjoy for on the go.

Best of all, its dairy free and keeps me full for agers! With just 5 minutes of prep time & packed with fibre and protein, it's an absolute winner!

Eaten warm this morning as an absolute treat. 

Prep Time 5 minutes
Serves 2


What You Need:
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats gluten free as needed
  • 3/4 cup almond milk or your favorite milk
  • 2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup chopped strawberries plus extra for topping
  • 1-2 tsp pure maple syrup or honey 
  • handful of roasted nuts and seeds 


What to Do:
  1. Add oats, almond milk and chia seeds together in a resealable container, mason jar or bowl. Add strawberries (and sweetener if desired) then shake jar or combine with a spoon.*
  2. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Top with fresh strawberry slices and roasted nuts before serving, if desired. 
  4. Enjoy cold or heat up in the microwave for a warming option.
For Meal prep:
  1. Double or triple the recipe and divide into separate mason jars or resealable containers for up to 4 days. Enjoy cold or heat up and add toppings of choice.
Recipe Notes
Alternatively for a layered look - add half of the oats to the bottom of the mason jar, then layer with strawberries, a dollop of coconut (for dairy free option) or unsweetened Greek yoghurt and add the remaining oats.
