Shamrock Shake Green Smoothie

I remember thinking of a 'green smoothie' as this super healthy drink, that I’d have to hold my nose shut and gulp back, something that would taste gastly, and I’d endure for the greater good! All in the name of health.

Who would have thought, it could actually be a beautiful glass of wholesome, feel good, nutritious,  deliciousness! Boom!

Smoothie lovers (or even not), give this little beauty a go!

Serves 2-3
What You Need:
  • 1 frozen or fresh ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach kale or other dark, leafy green of your choice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 fresh mint leaves finely chopped or 1/4 tsp mint extract
  • Approx 3/4 cup of ice. Adjust accordingly on how icy you want it.
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)


What to Do:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Pour into 2-3 glasses depending and enjoy!
Cup cakes and kale chips
