Overnight Chia Seeds in Yogurt, oh this sweet beautiful bowl of deliciousness!

Truth be told it looked like this for a whole 30 seconds before its was demolished!  

If you're wanting a change on breakfast? 🙋🏼‍ This is the one. If you can keep your eyes open for an extra 5 minutes before bed, put yogurt, almond milk, honey and chia seeds in a bowl, give it a stir, and place it in the refrigerator. Kapow! As you get your sleep, the chia seeds do their magic and transform into a nourishing breakfast. Make it relish with toppings of choice… nuts, seeds, naturally sweetened muesli, fruit, whatever you fancy and it’s good to go! Light and LOVELYYYY!! x

Servings 2 people


What You Need:
  • 1/2 cup natural unsweetened yogurt 
  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup 
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
Topping ideas
  • 1 handful muesli (use homemade or your favorite low sugar brand)
  • 1 handful mixed to favourite berries such as raspberries and blueberries 
  • toasted nuts and seeds
  • additional yogurt - for topping (if desired)


What to Do:
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the yogurt and milk. Stir in honey and chia seeds. Place evenly into the 2 containers you’ll be using, cover and set in the refrigerator overnight. If you can, stir the chia seed mixture a couple times after putting it in the refrigerator (after 30 minutes, after 1 hour). It is not necessary (ie. if you go to sleep), but it will help prevent clumps.
  2. In the morning, give the chia seed pudding a good mix, breaking apart any clumps.
  3. Stir in another spoonful or two of yogurt, if desired. Top with your favorite muesli and a toppings of choice.
