Its a winner!

Swap your chocolate loving for this beauty of a healthy treat! Seriously, the picture doesn't show the mouth watering amazingness of it!

Makes 10-12 bars


What You Need:
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup raw cashew nuts
  • 1/2 unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 wholemeal flour (or coconut flour for gluten free option)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence 
  • 1 tbsp runny honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil


What to Do:
  1. Place all ingredients into blender, and bliss until completely combined. If you prefer the bars with less chunks then place the cashews in first before the other ingredients.
  2. When all ingredients are combined, remove from blender and place on a flat tray that is lined with baking paper. Place another piece of baking paper on top and roll felt with rolling pin. Or ’smooth’ down with hands until about 2cm thick, trying to make rectangle shape.
  3. Place in fridge to set for around 30 minutes then remove and cut into bars.
