Almond butter overnight oats smoothie

Yup its all kinds of creamy!

Those who struggle with breakfast and time. Those who are keen on a liquid type breakfast. Ot those who just enjoy a delicious nutritious smoothie! This one is for you.

Prepare the night before in minutes, chuck in the blender in the morning and you have yourself a winner. Delicious, wholesome breakfast to take on the go! 

Serves 2

What You Need:
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk + ½ cup, optional
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ nectarine, diced
  • couple of fresh strawberries


What to Do:
  1. Add oats, almond milk, Greek yoghurt and chia seeds together in a resealable container, mason jar or bowl. Add almond butter, honey, cinnamon on top. Finish off with top layer of fruit.
  2. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Place in blender, add 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, blend on high until smooth.
  4. Pour into 2 glasses depending and enjoy cold or heat up in the microwave for a warming option.
